Background
Transfer pricing has been one of the unavoidable segments in multinationals’ financial decision making. In the increasingly competitive business environment, transfer pricing planning for inter-company transaction reaches a crucially strategic level. On the other hand, after the promulgation of Transfer Pricing Documentation Rules on 8 Aug 2009, Chinese Tax bureau has strengthened the investigation on multinationals’ transfer pricing activities. In face of the stricter compliance requirements, how to reasonably arrange different functions of companies in a group? How to plan your transfer pricing from perspective of total tax effectiveness? How to optimize your supply chain management in order to reduce tax costs? During the economic downturn and under the new regulatory environment, it is of meaningful importance that a company takes positive planning measures on transfer pricing, corporate structuring and supply chain management. In this PEO seminar, we are pleased to have invited Mr. Lawrence Cheung, Deputy Tax Managing Partner, Deloitte Touche Tohmatsu South China Region and Mr. Victor Li, Tax Senior Manager, Deloitte Touche Tohmatsu Shenzhen to share with us effective transfer pricing planning strategy under the financial crisis and optimization methods on your supply chain management and corporate structuring.
