New Highline Data-TIARA Partnership Brings Risk Analysis and Due Diligence Reports to Insurance Analyst PRO
CAMBRIDGE, Mass., September 3 — Highline Data today announced a distribution agreement with the Townsend Independent Actuarial Research Alliance, LLC (TIARA) to provide a full suite of analytical reports for the Life & Health and Property & Casualty insurance industries. TIARA, which was founded by Frederick Townsend, provides the insurance industry with a comprehensive collection of Risk Analysis and Due Diligence Reports that allow the end user to quickly identify strengths and weaknesses of individual insurance carriers. These reports will now be fully integrated into Highline Data’s flagship Insurance Analyst PRO online analytical tool. Also included as part of this new content will be the Industry Focus Reports. These reports will empower Highline Data clients to identify trends in the industry on a variety of topics, such as line of business performance, investment performance and operating performance. The addition of this new content to Highline Data’s Insurance Analyst PRO will be a tremendous advantage to current and future users by providing them with fast and easy answers to their analytical needs from one comprehensive source. Frederick Townsend, the founder of The Townsend & Schupp Company, worked in actuarial positions at the Prudential, Berkshire Life and as chief actuary of Valley Forge Life (a CNA subsidiary). Fred writes a monthly column for The National Underwriter, and has spoken on financial solvency and other topics at life insurance industry meetings and conventions. His involvement with the Society of Actuaries includes the committee that developed GAAP for the life insurance industry and the formation of the Investment Section Council. Fred was a firstteam Institutional Investor All-American research analyst on the insurance industry for seven consecutive years. Fred performed M&A projects and/or strategic reviews of operations for major life insurers such as Aetna, American General, CIGNA, Connecticut Mutual, Hartford, IDS, Massachusetts Mutual, Prudential and Travelers.
