Debra Dolan Serves in the Two year old room.
1. If you go could anywhere in the world where would you go? New Zealand 2. How did you come to Christ? As a youth, although I feel like I‟ve always had faith. I didn‟t realize what it was or meant until I accepted Jesus as my personal Savior. 3. Why do you like serving in this ministry? I love children and I have a heart for others. 4. What does your family look like? I have girls ages 15 & 13, and also a grown son, who has 4 kids; and a daughter who has 2 boys. So I have 6 grandchildren (3 boys & 3 girls). 5. What are some of your hobbies? I play softball; love to spend time with friends and family. I like scrap booking, cross stitch & quilting, although I haven‟t found time for many of these in a while, I love them. 6. What is your favorite memory while serving? Oh goodness, there are many. I love working with the children. Recently my heart was stolen on Easter Sunday by a little fellow by the name of Malachi when he reached up for me and then wrapped his little arms around my neck and wouldn‟t let go. Such a cutie and the happiest eyes. That was it, I was hooked. So I went from part time helper to full time. 7. What is your favorite Christian/Spiritual Growth book? The Bible! Many years ago I participated in „Experiencing God‟ study group. This book changed my life. I also liked “Purpose Driven Life” and Charles Stanley‟s “How to Let God Solve Your Problems”. 8. If you had all day to do something for yourself what would you do? I would write cards to friends, family and others to encourage them or just let them know they are thought of, and prayed for; and spending time with grandkids is always a blessing. 9. The most fun you ever had was when? Not enough room for that one! Although when our Small Group has game night and the girls whip up on the guys in Pictionary it is a great time. Full of laughs and good fun. 10. What do you want your students to learn from you? Love. Unconditional love, and to know that Jesus loves them and is always with them.
