These grants are given to non-government organizations to strengthen their capacity to provide community services and activities. There are four funding rounds each year. The closing dates for these are 31 March, 30 June, 30 September, and 31 December. These grants are given by Queensland Casinos (Jupiter‟s, Breakwater, Reef Hotel) o benefit community groups in their area.
These grants of up to $5000 aim to assist community organisations, by enabling organisations to purchase small equipment that contributes to making volunteering activities easier, safer and more enjoyable. Close in March each year.
This program provides software and technical support to registered non-profit organisations throughout Australia that provide human services for disadvantaged groups or individuals. These Community Grants are for communities with a population of 10,000 or less. The maximum grant is $5,000 and organisations can put forward projects and activities that offer clear public benefit to communities in small rural and remote locations in Australia, contributing to their development in social and community welfare, economic, environmental, health, education or cultural areas.
