BE IT ENACTED BY THE MOUNTAIN LAKES GOV MODEL CONGRESS 1 2 3 4 5 6 7 8 9 10 11 12 13 14 15 16 17 18 19 20 21 22 23 24 25 26 27 28 29 30 31 32 Preamble: The purpose of this bill is to lower the gas emissions of cars sold in the United States over the next 10 years. In the next 10 years every gas car will have its gas emissions lowered by 40%, every hybrid car by 20% and cars that run on any other manor of fuel by 10%. Section 1: cars gas emissions progress will be based on the gas emissions of a model of that car sampled on January 1, 2010 Section 2: Any new cars developed must have a gas emission that is no larger than that of any other model of car sold in the United states on the year the car is sold to the public. Section 3: Totally gas cars emissions will go down 4% from their original emissions every year, hybrid car emissions will go down 2% from their original emissions, and other fueled cars emissions will go down 1% from their original emissions Section 4: necessary car emission levels will be changed on the 1st of January every year until 2020 and will drop by a constant percentile from the initial gas emission test. Section 5: This bill shall go into effect on January 1, 2010
