GENERAL NEWS This is goodbye from me – Julie Hendle Hello MLHOP church family I am sorry that I never got the chance to say goodbye personally to all of you but school holidays and my necessity for a hasty departure has prevented that. However I would like to take this opportunity to thank everyone for your prayers, encouragement, love and support during my time at MLHOP. It has been a wonderful time of spiritual growth for me and I thank you for being a part of my walk with the Lord if only for a short time. God has opened a door of opportunity for me in Charters Towers and I leave Townsville on Saturday 3 October. Prayers have been answered and I have a position with the Charters Towers Regional Council. My address will be 74 Mary Street Charters Towers until at least April 2010 and I will advise Audrey of my phone number once confirmed on arrival. If you are ever looking for something different to do on a weekend and come for a drive up that way please let me know and if you advise me early enough I will make time to catch up with you. 10 years ago on 11 October 1999 I gave my heart to the Lord here in Townsville. On 12 October 2009 I start work in a new town and will have a new church family – God is starting another chapter in my life and I am excited and very much looking forward to seeing the outcome of the plans He has for me. Over these past couple of weeks God has blessed me in some amazing ways including a sale contract on my house within a week of being on the market, finding a suitable house in CT that only became available 5 minutes before I arrived at the real estate and the opportunity to meet some other ladies from the CT Uniting church. And although I will miss seeing you all regularly please don’t think it will be out of sight out of mind as you all have helped play an important role in my life and I thank you for that. May you continue to show the love, support and hospitality to each other and everyone who walks in the doors that MLHOP church family is so well known for. Bye, thanks and God bless. Julie Hendle
