*Getting a brass instrument chemically cleaned is recommended about once every two years. Brass instruments will work better with good care in between chemical cleanings. Most of the solos that students in 7th & 8th grade are playing and even some band songs can be practiced at home using SmartMusic.  This practice tool is already being used in the Carlisle High School.
