Vandoren:

Rico:
Rico – $9.75 Most flexible grade of cane for easy of play. Most affordable. High playing. Legere:
Student Synthetic Reed -- $6.50 per reed. After much work, Légère introduces the new Student Strength Reed for Bb clarinet which costs much less than their premier reed line. It is available only in strengths of 2 and 2.5, corresponding to the scale used by the standard orange box Rico® reeds, and is designed with a free blowing profile so that it responds instantly for novice players. For this reed, Legere uses a slightly different material. It is opaque, but shares the important properties of the normal Légère material. The affordable price is the result of Legere omitting some steps in the reedmaking process, eliminating the serialized lables and not providing the refund or exchange option. Standard Synthetic Reed -- $13.60 per reed. Legere synthetic reeds are rugged and should last for many hours of playing. Its properties are very similar to these of wet cane. It doesn't have to be preconditioned before playing. Impermeable to water. Completely non-toxic. Can be sanitized. It is extremely tough and it will last a long, long time. Quebec Synthetic Reed -- $13.60 per reed. Our new Quebec Cut reed produces a darker sound than the original. Distinctly different, but of the same Légère quality.
