									21Day Cape Town to Victoria falls Legend: B L D = Breakfast, Lunch, Dinner We will pick you up at Cape town international airport, or one of the backpackers in the Cape town area, one day prior to departure .We will stay overnight at a private lodge (own expense ) Day 1: Early morning we head off to cape point and see the Atlantic and Indian oceans meet. Ten were off to a little town called Gansbaai. Here you have the option of shark gage diving, meeting the Great white shark face to face….brrrr!!. B L D Day 2: We are up early and those who want to meet the sharks go off to Dyer island where the Great white roams. Those who stay behind can explore the town of Hermanus with its many markets and little shops. You can also do Whale watching from the cliffs on the shoreline of Hermanus. (seasonal ) Tonight we have dinner at a local restaurant. B D Day 3: Today we are of to Namibia, and we will be camping at Felix river camp on the banks of the Orange river, border between South Africa and Namibia. The afternoon can be spend canoeing on the orange river. B L D Day 4: Up early we leave for the Fish river canyon, the second largest canyon in the world. We arrive and set up camp, then we drive to the edge of the canyon were we will wait for sundown and sip sundowners and watch the

magnificent African sun going down. Tonight we will enjoy true African quisine around the campfire. B L D Day 5: We pack up camp and head off to Sesriem, a site on the edge of the Namib dessert from were we will do some dessert exploring. Arriving we set up camp and relax around the pool for the rest of the afternoon. B L D Day 6: Leaving camp before the break of day, we head of in the dessert, getting to dune 45 we start climbing to the top and finally sit down quite exhausted waiting for sunrise. Everyone is totally surprised at the beauty unfolding before them and many pictures will be taken. We then slide down the dune and carry on further into the desert. Finally we get to Sosusvlei, a pan in the dessert that keeps water for long periods of time and many animals visit this extraordinary place. B L D Day 7: Today we head off for Swakkopmund, en route we will have breakfast at Solitaire, a stop in the dessert with the best apple pie in the world. Then we carry on to Swakkopmund arriving at lunch time. We will be staying here for the next 2 nights in lovely chalets, and you will attend a briefing on the many optional activities on offer. BLD Day 8: You spend the day at your own leisure, taking part in one or more of the optional activities on offer. Tonight we visit one of the local restaurants B Day 9: Up early we leave for Cape cross to visit the massive seal colony that breads there, then we head off to Palmwag our overnight stop. En route we stop of at a

Koi-San rock painting site, and are taken on a tour in the different caves and overhangs. B L D

Day 10: After waking up to the call of Africa, we do breakfast then pack up camp and head off to a cheetah farm were you can get closer to these magnificent animals. B L D Day 11: We are on our way to Etosha national park. For the next two days we will be scouting for Africa s big five and many more of the magnificent animals in the park. At night we spend time at the flood lit waterholes and see animals coming and going all night. B L D Day 12: Today we spend the whole day game viewing from our vehicle. Tonight we once again spend time at the waterholes. B L D Day 13: With the call of the franklins daybreak is announced in Africa. We have a long drive to Rundu our overnight stop en route to the Okavango Delta. Breakfast and lunch will be served en route. B L D Day 14: Steaming mugs of coffee greets us as we arise to all the morning sounds around us. The mist is rising from the Okavango river as we pack up our camp and head off to Ngepi river camp on the border of Botswana. B L D Day 15: We cross into Botswana and head for our camp in the Okavango delta. We board motor boats and head off to an island deep in the delta called Mokorro island. From here we board Mokorros,(Dug out tree trunks) and

head for one of the many islands in the delta. Here we will be staying for the next two nights, exploreing the delta on foot with the local guides. B L D Day 16: Today we will go on game walks with our guides. We will also try our hand on Mokorro steering , and swim in one of the empty hippo pools providing there is no crocodiles. Tonight we might hear the sound of hippos in the water and hear elephants browsing around our tents. B L D Day 17: Its back to Ngepi were we will spend the night before moving on to Victoria Falls. B L D Day 18: We have along haul today to Kasane the gateway to Chobe national park. We arrive and set up camp at Thebe river safaris.There is an optional Chobe river cruise on offer. B L D Day 19: Early morning you go for a game drive in the Chobe National park. On your return breakfast will be waiting. We then head off to Zambia and the town of Livingstone were we will visit the Victoria falls, and be briefed on the many optional activities on offer. Late afternoon we will go on a sunset cruise on the mighty Zambezi river. B D Day 20: Today you will spend at your own leisure, taking part in one or more of the many optional activities on offer. B D Day 21: Sadly we have come to the end of a magnificent tour and we say our goodbyes, the tour ends at 10h00. B
