Day 1: Depart early morning after breakfast from your hunting camp for Botswana. Leave your rifles at your hunting camp for safe keeping. Travel to Nata via Francistown. This afternoon we take an open vehicle safari to the Makgadikgadi Pans National Park, which is known for its prolific birdlife. Overnight at Nata - Botswana. Accommodation: Nata Camp *** (L & D) Day 2: After a leisurely breakfast we travel to Kasane, arrive in time for lunch at Chobe Safari Lodge. The rest of the afternoon and evening is at leisure, giving you time to relax and enjoy the beauty of this area or optional – book an afternoon tiger fishing on the Chobe / Zambezi River. Overnight at Kasane Botswana. Accommodation: Chobe Safari Lodge **** (B, L & D) Day 3: Early morning open vehicle safari into “Big 5” country - Chobe National Park. You then have the rest of the day to relax at the lodge with its beautiful setting along the Chobe River or optional – tiger fishing on the Chobe / Zambezi River, end off the day with a sunset cruise down the river. This area is well known for its large herds of elephant and cape buffalo. Overnight at Kasane - Botswana. Accommodation: Chobe Safari Lodge **** (B, L & D) Day 4: Today you have the opportunity to view the only place in the world where 4 countries meet, namely Botswana, Namibia, Zambia & Zimbabwe. We cross the border into Zambia at Kasane via the pontoon over the mighty Zambezi River. Drive to Livingstone where we cross the border (walk) to Zimbabwe for a visit to one of the natural wonders of the world - Victoria Falls. Return to Zambia for lunch at the Royal Livingstone Hotel and then back to Kasane in Botswana. Overnight at Kasane - Botswana. Accommodation: Chobe Safari Lodge **** (B, L & D) Day 5: After the morning at leisure and lunch, we start making our way back to SA. Travel via Nata to Francistown. Overnight in Francistown. Accommodation: Cresta Thapama Hotel **** (B, L & D) Day 6: This is the one day that involves quite a bit of travelling, depart early for South Africa, cross the border back into SA at Grobler`s Bridge border post. Collect your rifles, before travelling to Muldersdrift on the outskirts of Johannesburg & Pretoria. Dinner will be served at the Carnivore Restaurant, which is one of only two of its kind in the world. Accommodation: Misty Hills Country Hotel **** (B, L & D) Day 7: The morning at leisure or we could visit the Sterkfontein Caves, also known as “The Cradle of Humankind” or visit Soweto - reflex on the “Apartheid” era of South Africa’s history. There will be time for last minute shopping before your departure. Drop-off at O R Tambo International in time for you to catch your flight home. Accommodation: - (B & L)
