Digital Economy Fact Book [http://www.pff.org/issues-pubs/books/factbook_2007.pdf] Contains an expanded chapter on the worldwide digital economy, focusing on both global statistics and information from three important regions: Europe, China and India. The book also includes sections on hardware, communications, electronic commerce and digital media. The data and statistics included in the book are the most up to date available in the years 2006 to 2007. Standard & Poor's Industry Surveys For a good overview of the Internet/e-commerce industry, see the section entitled "Computers: Consumer Services & the Internet." Each section is updated twice annually and includes related tables and charts, such as growth of internet use over time, e-commerce by product sector, etc.

Article Databases Database User Guides If you are unable to retrieve the full text of an article online, see if the Library owns a print copy by searching the online catalog (search for the JOURNAL title, not the ARTICLE title). If you cannot access the full text of an article online, and the Library does not own the periodical, place an Interlibrary Loan/Document Delivery request. Business Source Elite Citation, abstract and full text coverage of scholarly business, management, marketing and economics journals. Also company profiles (including SWOT analysis). [Profiles are in PDF format, requiring Adobe Acrobat Reader.] General Business File ASAP Indexes over 900 general business and finance magazines, trade, and local business journals (460 full-text). LexisNexis News, company and industry information, financial information, and full text articles. Academic OneFile Contains articles, most in full-text (html and PDF format), from 8,000 academic journals covering a wide variety of disciplines. It also contains hundreds of podcasts and transcripts from NPR, CNN, and the CBC, as well as full-text New York Times content from 1995 to the present. Expanded Academic Index ASAP Full-text, citations, and abstracts of articles for 1800+ academic and general interest periodicals. Wall Street Journal 1984-present Full-text coverage of business and financial news and analysis, company news, editorials, regular columns and special reports.
