TELLER FACTS
• As a Wachovia Teller, you will be expected to provide quality customer service to our customers by performing transactions with quality and efficiency and to recognize opportunities to grow our customers' relationships by referring and selling products and services. Tellers are expected to exhibit the five attributes of quality customer service, which includes friendliness, clear communication, staff product/service knowledge, willingness to meet needs and an interest in solving problems. Wachovia Financial Center's hours vary across our corporation based on business needs. Financial Centers are open Monday - Friday with some centers operating on Saturday. You must be flexible to work the schedule you are assigned. Teller schedules are driven by the needs of Wachovia customers. Wachovia is a professional environment and business attire is required. Your Recruiter will provide details of the dress code and you will be required to sign them stating that you agree to follow them. Attendance is a very important aspect of our business. You are required to be at work on time each day as scheduled to ensure that the level of service to our customers is given according to the Service Measurement Standards. As a new employee, you will receive an Orientation to Wachovia and paid training to give you the tools needed to be successful in your new position. You will observe in a Financial Center to learn more about the important role of a Teller. You will attend training conducted via a multimedia computer and will receive information on policies and procedures. All new hired employees will be on early evaluation for several months. During this time, you will receive feedback on whether you are meeting the job requirements. Upon successful completion of your training phase, you will join a team involved in ensuring the satisfaction and service of Wachovia customers. As a teller, on-going support is available in the form of teammates, leaders and support lines.
