                  UNION MARSH MUNICIPAL DRAIN IMPROVEMENTS


Sealed tenders plainly marked as to content shall be delivered to Mr. Dean Iorfida, City Clerk or his
representative, City Hall, 4310 Queen Street, Niagara Falls, Ontario until 1:15 p.m. local time on
TUESDAY, DECEMBER 8, 2009 for the cleanout of approximately 5300 m of the Union Marsh
Drain beginning south of Willick Road, east of Willoughby Drive and continuing southwesterly to
the north side of the QEW, east of Sodom Road.

Plans, Specifications and the Form of Tender may be obtained at the office of the Director of
Municipal Works, 4310 Queen Street, Niagara Falls, Ontario on or after TUESDAY, NOVEMBER
24, 2009. A non-refundable deposit of FIFTY DOLLARS ($50.00), G.S.T. included, will be required
for each set of specifications issued.

All tenders must be accompanied by a certified cheque in the amount of $4,000.00 payable to the
City of Niagara Falls.

This contract utilizes the Niagara Peninsula Standard Contract Documents. This document
constitutes the specification for this project and must be utilized in preparing bids for tenders.

Contract documents may be examined without charge, but not removed from:

The lowest or any tender will not necessarily be accepted.
