LITTLE LAMBS PRESCHOOL
PURPOSE OF PRESCHOOL: The Little Lambs Preschool was established to provide an
educational experience in a warm, happy, Christian environment for children two years, nine
months old and potty trained through pre-kindergarten. Recognizing the importance of balanced
growth, Little Lambs Preschool will provide opportunities for the social, emotional, intellectual,
physical, and spiritual development of each child.
SERVICES OFFERED: Our program offers half-day or full day classes two, three, or five
days per week.
STATE’S RIGHTS: The California State Department of Social Services has the legal right to
visit our facility unannounced. In so doing, they have the right to interview staff as well as
children. Their rights include interviewing students without one of our workers being present
and without notifying the parents.
ARRIVAL AND DEPARTURE: It is imperative that each child be signed in and out upon
arrival and departure. California Social Services requires a complete signature; no initials. Only
those adults with proper I.D. (over 18 years of age) and those who are included on the child’s
release form will be allowed to sign the child in and out.
LLPS is open from 7:00 a.m. until 6:00 p.m. Monday through Friday, all year, except on
designated holidays. Daily pick up time for half-day students is 12:00 noon. Lunch time is at
ll:30 a.m. Pick up time for any all day students is 6:00 p.m. Any child picked up after 6:00 p.m.
will be assessed a late fee as outlined in the parent handbook. Being consistently late can result
in a termination of services.
STATE LICENSED: The Little Lambs Preschool is licensed by the State Department of
Social Services. Our license number is 274400277.
PERSONAL BELONGINGS: All personal belongings should be clearly labeled with your
child’s name, especially jackets, sweaters, and lunch boxes. Each child must have a gallon-sized
plastic baggie or backpack at school with a change of clothes for emergencies. Please label the
outside of the bag.
NAPS: Children are required to have a rest time each day. The school provides thick rest mats
for each child, but parents must provide the child with a small blanket and a crib sized sheet.
These can be sent in a plastic bag and will be sent home each Friday to be laundered.
OBSERVATIONS AND CONFERENCES: Parents are welcome to visit in their child’s
classroom at any time provided their visit is non-obtrusive. Conferences may be scheduled
conveniently for the teacher and the parents.
NOTICE OF POLICY CHANGES: Little Lambs Preschool reserves the right to make policy
changes and rate changes as the need arises. Parents will be given 30 days advance notice of any
policy or rate changes.
TERMINATION POLICY: Services may be terminated for the following reasons: severe
incidence of misbehavior; tuition account 30 days in arrears; parent violation of policies and
procedures; excessive amount of late pick ups; or our facility is unable to meet the needs of the
FINANCIAL POLICIES: All enrollment fees are due and payable in full upon
enrollment and are non-refundable. No credit is given for illness or holidays. Two weeks
tuition credit will be allowed for vacation if the vacation is taken in weekly increments and
scheduled at least 2 weeks in advance. Tuition shall remain the same should a family take a
vacation during the school year, if not scheduled in advance. Tuition remains the same if the
child should be absent due to illness.Tuition is paid on a monthly basis and is due in full on
the first day of each month. A $75.00 late fee will be assessed after the fifth day of the month
on all late tuition payments. Accounts that are more than 30 days in arrears may be dropped from
the program until the account is made current.

subject to all the terms and conditions in this Admissions Agreement.
I/We agree to pay $175.00 non-refundable registration/enrollment/building use fee.

I/We agree to pay any late charges, returned check charges, overtime charges, or other charges
that may be incurred during my child’s enrollment. All contracts shall remain in effect until
Little Lambs Preschool receives written notification from the parents/guardians that the child
shall no longer attend. I/We will provide Little Lambs Preschool with 2 weeks written notice
before withdrawal of my child.
If legal action is commenced to enforce the terms of this Admissions Agreement, the prevailing
party in any such action shall be entitled to recover all attorney fees and costs incurred in
connection with such action.
I have received the Parent Handbook and understand and agree to all the policies and procedures,
and will, to the best of my ability, abide by them.
