Solemnity of All Saints
Father Mark’s Remarks….
In today’s gospel we hear Jesus say, “How blessed are the poor in spirit:
the kingdom of Heaven is theirs.” Over the past couple of years I have
met lots of poor people. We have an account called the ‘poor fund’ and
most days of the week there is someone at my door hoping to receive
some help from that fund. The ‘poor fund’ is a gift from you. It is the
money that you donate to help the poor. I distribute it. Generally people
are not asking for money to pay their medical bills (our taxes pay for that) Youth Events
