COLE PUFFINBURGER FOUND!!
COLE FOUND SAFE, HEALTHY, IN GOOD SPIRITS IN LAS VEGAS
The search for six-year-old Cole Puffinburger ended tonight, when the boy was found in Las Vegas, north of the strip. Las Vegas Metropolitan Police received a call about a child out wandering so late at night. Cole Puffinburger was recovered at a bus stop at the corner of Oakey and 15th just after 11 PM Saturday night. The boy was in good spirits, excellent health and not injured. Cole was kidnapped from his Las Vegas home on Wednesday during an armed home invasion. Cole was taken by members of a Mexican drug cartel who were posing as police officers, in what Las Vegas detectives describe as retribution for a drug deal gone bad. Law enforcement officials have been searching for Cole since he was abducted Wednesday morning, in an effort that has covered multiple states and Mexico. Cole’s maternal grandfather Clemens Tinnemeyer was arrested Friday night. Authorities say that Tinnemeyer was part of a methamphetamine ring with Mexican drug dealers and had vanished with millions of dollars owed to them. Police say when the drug dealers could not find Tinnemeyer or the money, they took Cole as payback. Police are still looking for Jesus Gastelum, considered a person of interest in the kidnapping of Cole. Gastelum is a Mexican national who evidently has ties to the people who abducted Cole.
