Pat was a nurse at Children’s Hospital and regional Medical Center in Seattle for over six years and brings this experience to bear in her legal practice. She is a clinical assistant professor at both the University of Washington and Seattle University Schools of nursing and a lecturer at Seattle Pacific University School of nursing. Pat was inspired to become a nurse as a youth and worked her way through nursing school at the University of Washington. She realized the best way to change the system was to become a legal advocate for patients and enrolled at the UW School of Law. She joined CMG as a student and later became a partner. Pat maintains memberships in several nursing associations and has received numerous awards.

PAUL CHeMnICK has represented clients with medical negligence claims for over 30 years. He has lectured at legal seminars and served as a vice president and Board member of the Washington State Trial Lawyers Association (WSTLA).
Paul was valedictorian of his graduating class at George Washington University. He went on to receive his J.D. from GWU’s School of Law with honors and was an editor of the Law review. raised by a single-parent mother, Paul helped support the family as a teenager doing three jobs. He worked his way through undergraduate and law school as well and graduated at the top of his class. He then landed a prestigious law clerkship. After moving to Seattle, he met Gene Moen and the two eventually formed a firm specializing in personal injury cases. He lives in a houseboat near downtown Seattle and enjoys ballroom dancing.

In 2006, Pat was inducted into ~ Marla Donaldson, the Washington State nurses Mercer Island, WA Association Hall of Fame “for achievements that have enduring value to nursing that will reach beyond the inductee’s lifetime.” She was president of the King County nurses Association, which chose her as “nurse of the Year” in 1988. Among her other awards are: “President’s Award,” King County nurses Association; and “Special President’s recognition Award,” Washington State Trial Lawyer’s Association. She chaired the Medical negligence Section of WSTLA and is currently on the Board of Governors.
