PROVIDERS!!

404th Aviation Support Battalion (ASB)
Serves as a support battalion for the Combat Aviation Brigade (CAB) of the 4th Infantry Division (4ID). The CAB holds the Army Aviation (helicopter) assets for the Division. 404th ASB consists of support elements to help sustain and maintain the various aircraft, ground vehicles, and communication. The Battalion also directly conducts several key missions to help enable the 4ID CAB to complete its overall mission.

Community Partnership Strategy

Support will come in two forms:
1. Merchandise – purchased or contributed for the benefit of our partners 2. Morale – non cash but more volunteer intensive programs to raise the spirits of soldiers while deployed and their loved ones awaiting their return while continuing to raise children and deal with school, family and life issues.

What can we send?
• • • • • • • Cards and letters (especially if home-made by kids) - the best idea ! Home-made cookies, brownies. Just not if they can melt. Hand wipes (unscented): like Wash & Dries or Wet Ones. Boot socks - Soldiers never have enough socks. Newspapers, Paperbacks, and Magazines (for guys and gals). Puzzles and puzzle books. Powdered drink mixes like Gatorade, snacks, and some microwaveable items.

Soldiers on patrol give them to Iraqi kids.
•Small stuffed animals. •School supplies - pencils, pens, notebooks and paper, watercolors, construction paper, scissors, chalk, pencil bags, metric rulers and similar items. •NO CRAYONS – THEY MELT!
