Dear Colleague,

As an active participant of the 25th International Specialized Symposium on Yeasts,
“Systems Biology of Yeasts”, you are invited to submit a full-length manuscript
(Research Article or MiniReview) to FEMS Yeast Research. The deadline for
submission is 31 October, 2006.

All manuscripts will be peer-reviewed. The accepted articles will be published in
print in a Thematic Issue of FEMS Yeast Research, to appear before Summer 2007.
Manuscripts should be submitted through Manuscript Central®, which is a web-based
submission, reviewing and tracking system in use by FEMS.

To submit a manuscript through this system, please go to:
http://mc.manuscriptcentral.com/fems and check the “Instructions and Forms” icon for
the latest submission instructions.

Authors submitting manuscripts must include their name, address, telephone number, e-
mail address, names of co-authors, title of the manuscript, abstract and keywords.
FEMS strongly recommends that you compile your manuscript in MS Word and
include text, tables and figures in a single Word document. In this document ensure that
line and page numbering are activated. The submission system will convert your Word
document to a PDF file and you can confirm accurate conversion. In your cover letter
indicate clearly that your submission is related to ISSY 25. If you do not receive e-
mail confirmation of your submission within 24 hours, please contact:
submission@fems-microbiology.org

Please consult Notes to Authors via the drop-down menus on the Journals page of the
FEMS Website (www.fems-microbiology.org) or in a recent issue of FEMS Yeast
Research for more detailed information!
