HOW TO SET UP YOUR GPS How to set up your GPS • You must set up your GPS in this way. • This helps in retreives and makes sure you pass through the waypoints How to Set up your GPS • It is helpful if everyone is using the same units for distances and elevation. Setting up a route • Once the task has been set you need to enter the route. • Make sure you have an additional waypoint before the task start. • Check that your total distance agrees with the total distance How to set up your Track Log • Go to the Tracks menu at Setup • Press menu • Scroll down to Setup Track Log How to set up your track log 2 • Recording: Stop when when full • Track Interval. 3 seconds is good. SIMPLE: • Keep your number of routes down to a minimum – It prevents you from navigating the wrong route HOW TO NAVIGATE A ROUTE • Before you launch: • Switch on your GPS • Wait until you acquire a position lock • Press NAV • Press Nav Route • Select route WHAT PAGE TO FLY ON • Set up for 6 fields: speed, distance to next current glider ratio glide to goal time anything else you fancy WHAT PAGE TO FLY ON -2 Fields: Speed Distance to next Glide ratio Glide to goal Pointer
