How to use the LCD Projector in Tutorial Room
(A) Using the VGA Cable Provided
1) 2) 3) 4) 5) 6) 7) 8) 9) Connect VGA/audio cable from the cable box to your laptop/notebook. ‘ON’ your laptop/notebook. Press ‘ON’ button on the wall-mounted keypad, to switch ON the Video Projector. Press ‘INPUT A” on the keypad. Remember to toggle (eg. Fn+F4) on your laptop/notebook to project the image. Adjust the ‘Video Volume’ for laptop/notebook audio. To end Projection, press ‘OFF’ on the keypad. Disconnect VGA/audio cable, coil and hang at the cable box. Thank you for your cooperation.
(B) Using the Wireless Function
Press ‘ON’ button on the wall-mounted keypad, to switch ON the Video Projector. 2) Press ‘INPUT C’ on the keypad. 3) Open the Internet Explorer on your laptop/notebook. 4) Key in the URL address of the room (eg. http: //tr2wproj.ntu.edu.sg for TR2) or you may key the IP address (eg. http://172.22.1.2 for TR2). The IP address is found at the lower taskbar when ‘ INPUT C’ is selected. 5) From the browser on your laptop, select ‘PRESENTATION VIEWER’. (Files supported: Microsoft Powerpoint, Words & Excel files) 6) Select ‘COMPUTER’ & browse for the required file. 7) Select the file & click ‘VIEW’. 8) The file will be projected on screen. You may control your presentation using your laptop/notebook. 9) At the end of presentation, click ‘END SHOW’. 10) Press ‘OFF’ on the keypad. 11) Thank you for your cooperation. 1) Note: Presentation Viewer: supports Microsoft Powerpoint, Words & Excel files. Image Viewer: supports JPEG, Bitmap, GIF, PNG image
