How to Find a MAC (Physical) Address and an IP address
PC Windows XP
1. 2. 3. 4. 5. 6. Click on the start button. Click on Run... Type “cmd” in the run field and click ok. Type “ipconfig /all” and hit . The MAC (physical) address is located next to Physical Address The IP (internet protocol) address is located next to the IP Address (xxx.xxx.xxx.xxx)
Mac OSX
1. 2. 3. 4. 5. 6. 7. Click on Apple Select System Preferences... Click on network Click on Built-in Ethernet Click on Configure... Click on TCP/IP The IP Address is displayed to the right of IP Address (xxx.xxx.xxx.xxx) Click on Ethernet The MAC (physical) address is located net to Ethernet ID:
