I. Translating sentences from Latin into English. (#1-10)

         Example:   sacerdotes agnum interficientes pro ara stabant.
               A.   The priest killing the goat was standing in front of the altar.
               B.   The priests being killed by the goat stood in front of the altar.
               C.   The priest being killed by the goat stood in front of the altar.
               D.   The priests killing the goat were standing in front of the altar.

II. Reading Comprehension Passage I – This is a story you have read already. (#11 – 30)

       **This section will be like all the others you have done this semester. Some questions
       will be in Latin with Latin answers; others will be in English with English answers.**

III. Vocabulary Stage 20 (#31 – 43)

         **This section will be like the vocabulary portion of one of your vocabulary quizzes,
         except you will have choices from which to choose.

         Example: astrologus in cubiculum irrupit, clamans.

IV. Culture – Stage 19 (#44 – 50) All of these come from the culture article for Stage 19 (pages
154 – 158)

V. Grammar – You will have to fill in the blanks in Latin sentences. (#51 – 60).

         Example: Galatea iratissima per _____ Alexandriae contendebat.
                  (A very angry Galatea was hurrying through the streets of Alexandria.)
