Holiday letter

                                    Family Evening
On the Friday 8 January we will again be having a Family evening for all families who are
enrolled in the Lido Aquatic Centre Holiday Programme for the summer holidays. The Family
evening will be between 5:30pm and 7:30pm, there will be a sausage sizzle some soft drinks
and games. The outdoor leisure pool will be booked out just for the holiday programme some
come along have a swim something to eat and meet everyone.

               Kyrewood Equestrian Centre (all ages)

We are going Horse Riding again, on Monday 11 January we will be heading out to the
Kyrewood Equestrian Centre for some Horse Riding lessons. This trip will be Limited to 20
children only, so please be in fast to avoid disappointment. Your children will need covered
shoes and sensible clothing e.g. long pants and a lunch and drink bottle. We will be leaving
Lido by 9:20am so please be on time,

                            Lido Camp Out (all ages)

The Lido Camp out is back on Friday 15 January from 5:30pm onwards. We will be sleeping
out the back of the Lido Aquatic Centre in tents with a BBQ for dinner and breakfast, will
play games and tell stories and a chance to go swimming when the Lido is shut for the night.
The camp out will be Limited to 20 children only all ages are welcome; all children will
need to be picked up by 9am on Saturday 16th January.
Children will need: Sleeping Bag
                    Change of clothes
                    Toiletries
                    Togs
If your child wishes to bring their own small tent something can be arranged, if they also wish
to bring a small amount of snack food that is fine.


                               Fishing Trip (seniors)
This summer we are again attempting to take a group of seniors fishing on Thursday 14th
January, this trip is limited to 15 seniors only once it is fill a waiting list will be started. All
children are required to have their own fishing rods, bait and tackle will be provided for
the day. All children will also need to bring warm clothing a packed lunch and drink for the
day. If the trip is postponed due to unforeseen events the back up days will be the 22nd and
28th January, we will do our best to confirm any changes by the night before.


                       Wellington Bus Trip (all ages)
We are off to Wellington to go to Te Papa and on the way back we will visit the Southward
car Museum this trip is limited to 44 children all ages. This trip will be our biggest of the
Holidays and will be Leaving at 8am on the Dot all children will need to be at the Lido
Aquatic Centre no later than 7:45am, we will not be waiting for late arrivals. We will be
back at the Lido by no later than 4:30pm.
