Learn the Stott Pilates fundamentals to strengthen and lengthen your spine! With a focus on core conditioning, awareness and alignment, Pilates is the perfect complement to cardiovascular exercise, sport, rehab, and life.

Challenge and improve your balance using the Pilates principles of core strength, awareness and alignment. Have a ball learning new exercises with the stability ball, BOSU, and toning balls. NEW! Community Dance Lab
The Tower at SMU is pleased to host a community dance class. The class will be led by professional dancers and is open to advanced level dancers and athletes who learn quickly and move well. Professional dancers/teachers Susan Cook and guests will guide the class, incorporating elements from ballet, modern dance, and capoeira….all in one great class. Saturday Pilates
Instructor Elvira Tutic is trained in STOTT Pilates and has worked in Toronto studios that have taught in the Pilates Method as well. Elvira has made the Maritimes her home for the past two years. NEW! Introduction to Kettlebells
A class for men and women who are looking for a power packed resistance and cardio training workout. Using a kettlebell, (a canonball shaped weight hundreds of years old), top sports teams, martial artists, and Hollywood celebrities alike are building functional fitness, flexibility, a strong core, and lean and sculpted muscles. You will learn the basics of Kettlebells which can be incorporated into your existing work outs or done in stand-alone high intensity fat burning circuits. NEW! Hip Hop x2
"Get Buck" and take your workout to a place no hip-hop class has taken you before. Led by both a male and a female instructor each who have years of experience, this class is twice the fun and twice the workout. Hip Hop
Hip Hop developed in NYC during the 70’s and since then it has gained recognition in music and dance. Hip Hop is more than being able to hit hard beats. It is a type of movement you find within yourself. Fresh from Vancouver, Instructor Priya Varma has danced with Twitch and Luther Brown from “So You Think You Can Dance”. Zumba is a Latin-inspired fitness class that is taking the world by storm. With emphasis on cardiovascular conditioning, toning the entire body, and having a BLAST, one is sure to work up a sweat and leave feeling great! Coining the concept of “fitness-party” and making fitness fun, Zumba has spread like wildfire and has positioned itself as an influential movement in the fitness industry. An athletic oriented class utilizing a variety of exercises, drills and equipment to increase your Balance, Agility, Strength and Endurance.
