									TWO FEET ON/OFF CONTACT TRAINING WORKSHOPS WITH RACHEL SANDERS
TOPICS:  Workshop 1 - Getting Solid Contacts: Establishing Criteria and Gaining Accuracy, Speed & Independence o This workshop focuses on retraining contacts from the ground up, starting with release work and varying the handler's position on the ground and then applying it to the contact obstacles.  Workshop 2 - Maintaining Solid Contacts: Achieving Reliable Contacts in Competition o This workshop is for those that have fast, accurate, independent and reliable contacts in practice, but whose contact performance wanes in the heat of competition. PRESENTER: Rachel Sanders is originally from the UK and now resides Atascadero, CA, where she runs Fast Forward Dog Sports. The contact workshops will build upon Rachel's training techniques presented in her DVD "Contacts: Bridging the Gap Between Training and Competition" (available from Clean Run Productions). Rachel's bio includes representing the United States in 2008 at the IFCS World Championships in Belgium; she is also a multiple AKC and USDAA National Championship Finalist. Note: All dogs must have some level of two feet on/off contact training and must be able to perform full height contact equipment safely. Jump’n Java students will be given first priority for working spots through April 28; thereafter registrations will be accepted on a first-received basis. Confirmations will be sent via email. Checks will be destroyed if, for whatever reason, the workshop needs to be cancelled. Space is limited, so please register without delay by sending this form and nonrefundable checks (except as outlined above) made out to Jump’n Java Agility to the attention of Anne Kajava at 1166 Virginia Ave., Redwood City, CA, 94061 (or dropping your registration off at the Training Center).
Hold Harmless Agreement: I, my assigns and my heirs by this my directive, agree to hold harmless Rachel Sanders, Anne Kajava, Jump’n Java Agility, the Java Dog Training Center, its assigns and heirs, and any assigned instructors or assistants, from any injury or death to me or my dog or those in my charge, from loss of or injury to any personal possessions including any vehicle in my charge, from any illness or injury or damage incurred by me or to me or my dog while in attendance, participating in or observing any events/matches/practice sessions/training sessions on the premises. Premises shall be defined as the Java Dog Training Center 2601 Spring St. Redwood City 94063. I understand my dog is my responsibility to keep in control at all times: quiet, crated and/or on lead when not running a course. I understand I am responsible for taking care of and picking up after my dog. I also understand no veterinarian or doctor will be present at the premises and time could be a critical factor in getting me, my dog or those in attendance with me to a doctor or vet for an injury, illness, or bite or any medical emergency and I agree to hold harmless, Rachel Sanders, Anne Kajava, Jump’n Java Agility, the Java Dog Training Center, for any first-aid, should qualified medical attention not be given timely. I take full responsibility for all my actions/inactions, along with those of my dog, and those in my charge hereby holding Rachel Sanders, Anne Kajava, Jump’n Java Agility, the Java Dog Training Center, fully harmless at all times. I understand that my dog must be healthy and have current vaccinations. I understand that my dog must be under control at all times and that liability will fall upon me for any actions or inactions on behalf of me or my dog resulting in injury, death, or illness to either other persons or dogs. I attest that I am over eighteen years of age and hereby consent by my signature below to the terms of this Agreement.
