In times of old When the earth was still cold There lived a dragon whose fire was a mythical delight It burnt so strong It lit up the night People were afraid to venture near For stories and legends Of the dragon they feared One day a night so bold Rode out into the night so cold To slay the dragon That people feared The dragon fought with all his might But the legend was ended On that cold dark night Stephanie Thomas Grade 6
