STATIONS OF THE CITY A Pilgrimage in Holy Week, the week before Easter Wednesday 8 April 2009 at 18h00 From St Mark’s Church, District Six to St George’s Cathedral, Wale Street, Cape Town

**************

It has become a tradition for Capetonians and visitors to our City to walk in the way of the Cross through our city during the week before Easter. Please join a Pilgrimage in the spirit of the Stations of the Cross, beginning at 18h00 in the historic St Mark’s Church in District Six (located on the Campus of the Cape Peninsula University of Technology in Clifton Street (off Kaizergracht). We stop for prayer and reflection at several historical sites in South Africa’s struggle for justice, freedom and dignity for all as well at sites of contemporary significance. The Pilgrimage ends at approximately 19h30 at the high altar of St George’s Cathedral, with an opportunity to walk the Cathedral’s labyrinth thereafter.

ALL ARE WELCOME For further information contact Sarah at 021 551 7846 or sarahinsl@yahoo.com or Ann at 021 424 7360 or reception@sgcathedral.co.za
