2 cups cornmeal 1 teaspoon salt 2 teaspoons all-purpose flour 2 teaspoons bacon grease Milk (use enough to make a stiff batter) about 1 cup Mix all ingredients together, then form pones (ovals) by hand and put on a greased baking sheet. Bake 12 to 15 minutes at 425 degrees.
Makes about 1½ dozen, depending on size.
