					FETE 2008 UPDATE
14/5/2008
With just over 3 months to “Jump, jolt and jive to the Jindalympics” we are calling upon the community spirit of volunteers to help convene stalls. Here is your opportunity to assist the P&C with its major fundraising activity and to prove that “Many hands make light work”. Details of the fete’s stalls are on the back of this fete update. Please consider those stalls where a convenor vacancy exists, or alternatively contact the named convenor and advise of your availability to assist. Further stalls maybe added to the attached listing as planning for this year’s fete progresses, so let Kim Green know that you are available. Thank you to those convenors who have already stepped up to the podium to carry the torch. Our school’s fete is a mini Ekka, and is enjoyed not only by our kids and parents, but by the wider Jindalee and surrounding community. Come on, be involved and be part of the P&C team that presents a great fete in 2008.

Fete Free Dress Days
The school’s first fete free dress day is scheduled for Thursday 22nd May. A gold medal donation is all it takes to be a winner. Come dressed as one of your favourite countries, sporting team or blue and gold of the rings of the Jindalympics fete.

Fete Meeting
The next fete planning meeting is set for Thursday 29th May at 7pm in the staffroom of the administration building. Please come along and participate in the planning and preparation of the fete.
