JC Cannon bio JC Cannon is a Privacy Strategist in Microsoft's Corporate Privacy Group. He works as a technical strategist for the team focusing on ways to apply technology to applications that will permit consumers to have better control over their privacy and enable developers to create privacy-aware applications. JC works closely with Microsoft's product groups, Microsoft research and gives presentations to developers from other companies on building privacy into their applications. While working in the Corporate Privacy Group, JC contributed privacy chapters to the books, Writing Secure Code 2nd Edition and Microsoft Windows Security Resource Kit. In 2004 JC authored the book, Privacy: What Developers and IT Professionals Should Know.
