Welcome to Mt Seymour!
Come visit Mt Seymour this winter and immerse yourself in magnificent snow-capped mountains and
breathtaking views of Vancouver, the Islands, and the Valley. We invite you to spend a day or season with
your friends, family or co-workers, ripping some powder or snowshoeing on a pristine snowy trail.

Group Season Pass Deal - Buy 10 and Get 1 Free!
Area Season Passes offer tremendous value - valid for all lifts and snowshoe trails. New this season: All
season pass holders receive a coupon book packed with savings for the mountain. Buy 10 Season Passes and
get 1 free (buy 20 and get 2 free, and so on). Call for our current rates. Mt Seymour is not a venue for
Vancouver’s 2010 Winter Olympics and as such has no blackout days. Ski and snowboard all season long!

Snow Tube Park
Snow tubing is fun for groups of all ages and abilities. No skill is required.
Our tubing area is equipped with a handle tow and we provide durable
nylon covered tubes for a smooth, controlled ride.
$13 per person for 2 hours; each additional hour $6 (rates incl. 5% GST)
• Rates include tube rental; min. 20 to qualify for group rates
• 1 free for every 10 in group
• Call ahead to confirm space/tube availability
Tobogganing for groups also available. Must provide own toboggan. $7 per
day (includes 5% GST). Crazy carpets avail. for purchase: $6/sml; $8/lrg
Snowshoe Programs
Fun and educational! Qualified interpretive guides lead groups
through beautiful forested trails exclusive to snowshoers. Rates
include guide, trail fees, snowshoe rental and a hot beverage at
the end of the program. Minimum 10 paid participants to qualify
for these rates. For every 10 paid, one person goes free! All
snowshoe group rates below include GST (5%). Call for times
and to register.
Program Descriptions and Group Rates
1. Winter Discovery (formerly Nature Traveller) - 2 hours - Weekends/Holidays: $29 Adult, $25 Student/Youth/Senior,
$22 Child; Weekdays: $27 Adult, $23 Student/Youth/Senior, $20 Child
Have you ever wondered how trees and animals on the mountain survive under a blanket of snow? Discover the incredible
adaptation techniques of wildlife in a winter environment while learning the fundamentals of winter safety.

2. Nature Games - 2 hours - Weekends/Holidays: $29 Adult, $25 Student/Youth/Senior, $22 Child; Weekdays: $27 Adult,
$23 Student/Youth/Senior, $20 Child
For the kid in you - be prepared for fun! Play nature adventure games on snowshoes while learning about some of
the amazing characteristics of a winter ecosystem.

3. Navigate Nature (formerly Orienteering Fun) - 2 hours - Weekends/Holidays: $29 Adult, $25 Student/Youth/Senior,
$22 Child; Weekdays: $27 Adult, $23 Student/Youth/Senior, $20 Child
Learn how to navigate successfully through nature. This is a great introduction to compass use and taking/following
bearings. No experience is required – just a sense of adventure!

4. Winter Workout - 2 hours - Weekends/Holidays: $29 Adult, $25 Student/Youth/Senior, $22 Child; Weekdays: $27 Adult,
$23 Student/Youth/Senior, $20 Child
Combine fitness and fun as guests enjoy a scenic snowshoe hike and get a great winter workout.

5. NEW! Spirit of Sport - 2 hours - Weekends/Holidays: $29 Adult, $25 Student/Youth/Senior, $22 Child; Weekdays:
$27 Adult, $23 Student/Youth/Senior, $20 Child
Experience the exhilaration of team games on snowshoes! Guests will engage in friendly competition against each other
while building team spirit, burning energy and having tons of fun.

6. NEW! Mountain Mystery & History - 2 hours - Weekends/Holidays: $29 Adult, $25 Student/Youth/Senior, $22 Child
Weekdays: $27 Adult, $23 Student/Youth/Senior, $20 Child
Go back in time and unlock the mysteries of the mountain. Who was here first? How did they get here? Learn about the
secret cabins in the forest on this fascinating look at the history of the people and the land of Mt Seymour.

7. Winter Survival - 3 hours - $33 - All age categories and days
Learn how to be “winter smart” in a mountain environment. This experiential program will get you into the forest on
snowshoes where you will learn essential winter survival skills and, if conditions permit, try your hand at building snow
shelters.

8. Evening Chocolate Fondue Tour: A Chocolate Indulgence - 2.5 hours - $48 - All age categories (excluding Saturday nights)
Enjoy the enchantment of an evening snowshoe tour as you explore the magic of winter. This 2.5 hour guided
experience will lead you through rolling forested trails to a hand-carved snow lounge where you’ll indulge in a delicious
chocolate fondue.

9. Amazing Snowshoe Race - 2 hours - $36 - All age categories and days
Based on “The Amazing Race”, this team building program leads groups through a fun and fast-paced scavenger hunt and
fact-finding mission…on snowshoes! Test your group’s wit while solving a series of mental challenges and mind-bending
riddles.
10. Survivor: A Winter Challenge - 2 hours - $36 - All age categories and days
This hands-on “Survivor” themed program will lead teams through a series of winter-related challenges. Given a survival
scenario and specific supplies, your group will try their hands at skill-testing activites such as shelter-building, orienteering,
melting snow etc...

Room Rentals
Why not add a room to your group booking? Great for events, meetings,
classes, parties or just to hang out, eat and keep your stuff!
Earl Pletsch (EP) Meeting Room (Alpine Activity Centre)
$45/hr, min. 3-hour rental
Size: 1026 square ft. (27’ x 38’)
Capacities: Theatre 90 ppl, Reception 95 ppl, Meetings 50 ppl, Meals 50-80 ppl
Catering available. Call for details.
Note: Moderate liquor consumption is permitted in the Earl Pletsch room, provided you purchase a special
occasion licence from a BC Liquor Store one week prior to your event (requires someone in your group to have
Serving It Right certification). Let us know if your event will involve alcohol consumption.

Enquist Yurt
$110 per 3-hour block rental
Capacity: 50 ppl seated
BBQ available on request

Grill Works cafeteria - quick and tasty meals and snacks

Enquist Lodge
Mt Seymour is constructing its new Enquist Lodge, located at the Enquist Tube Park! The lodge will feature
both public and private group spaces. Check our website for the latest info regarding its completion.


Become a Certified Ski and/or Snowboard Instructor
Looking for a great career or seasonal job? Why not train and become a certified instructor? Suitable for
advanced skiers and snowboarders, there are a number of courses offered through CSIA (Canada Ski
Instructors Alliance) and CASI (Canadian Association of Snowboard Instructors) that are taught at
Mt Seymour (visit www.snowpro.com for more details on these programs and book them through these
organizations). Mt Seymour is also developing an instructor internship whereby you can develop your
skills toward the goal of taking these certifications. Check our website for more details on this exciting new
program, coming soon!


Mountain Hosts Wanted
We are always looking for volunteers to help make guests
feel comfortable at our resort. To qualify, you must be at
least an intermediate-level skier or snowboarder and have
a passion for customer service and hospitality. Contact John

Getting Here
Mt Seymour, located in North Vancouver, is a 30-minute drive from downtown Vancouver. Parking is free during
the season at the resort. Please check our website or call for driving directions. For those wishing to park at the
base of the mountain or arriving via public transit (please call Translink for at 604.953.3333 for routes), a shuttle
bus will travel back and forth from Parkgate Mall (located at the base of Mt Seymour) to our resort on a regular
schedule during the season on a first-come, first-served basis. Note: Space for large groups is not guaranteed!
