        FREQUENTLY ASKED QUESTIONS AND ANSWERS (FAQ’s)

Q.    Are the Airlines still covered if the Agent defaults in paying the insurance
      premium along with defaulting on the billings payment?

A.    Yes, even if the Insurer has not been paid the premium, the insurance remains in place,
      and the Airlines remain fully covered.


Q.    I currently have a Bank Guarantee. Can I join the DIP at any time, or do I
      need to wait until my Bank Guarantee expires?

A.    You can join the DIP at any time.     Once you have enrolled into the DIP, your Bank
      Guarantee will be returned to you.


Q.    How is my DIP premium paid?

A.    Your DIP premium is billed together with your CASS sales via CASS with each billing
      cycle.


Q.    Do all Airlines in the CASS or the BSP accept the DIP or can they require a
      Bank Guarantee instead?

A.    Where a DIP has been put in place for the CASS or the BSP all Airlines will accept either
      the DIP or a Bank Guarantee, - the choice is entirely up to the Agent.


Q.    How do I join the DIP?

A.    Just download the application form, and have it completed by a Shareholder or a
      Director of the Agent, - or ask IATA to send you an Application Form. Once completed,
      send the form to IATA for processing.


Q.    I am only a new Agent – can I join the DIP?

A.    For IATA Accredited Cargo Agent, you can join DIP at any time. For CASS Associates,
      the participation is subject to the Financial Review and/or requirements as determined
      by IATA/CBL.


Q.    Do I need to post any collateral or other security to be able to join the DIP?

A.    No
Q.   My agency billings fluctuate during the year. Do I need to provide any top-ups
     of cover to IATA if my revenue billings increases substantially?

A.   No, there are no pre-set limits per agent in the DIP. All billings during a maximum of
     three billing periods are covered, - at no matter what level.


Q.   I only had to provide a Bank Guarantee for 2 billing periods previously, how
     many billing periods would I be covered for under the DIP?

A.   The DIP will cover you for 3 billing periods.
