CAFÉDIVERSO BLOG GUIDELINES We publish a daily web-log (‘blog’) in the section named caféDiverso Blogs. This is a maximum of 300 words in length, is timeless and is written by a different author or ‘blogger’ each week. One city or location is featured each week, where our author provides stories from a local environment. 1. No matter where the reader is living, he or she becomes curious and imagines being in a different place or space in the world. The author tells us what is happening through words describing real people and real places that they have encountered. 2. We explore local lifestyles, how people communicate, their favourite music, their food, their neighbours, their customs and daily habits and what is happening in their city or country. 3. We provide concise insights into the author’s experience of the city, town, village or countryside -what makes this place so special, what kind of feelings are evoked and how the senses are affected. 4. These are features of peoples daily lives that a reader would not expect to come across in mainstream media publications. 5. caféDiverso maintains similar quality criteria to those described in the Story Guidelines. 6. caféDiverso is not about political commentary or opinions, tourist guide information, racist, discriminatory or offensive content, abstract thoughts or in general details that are out of context with the general philosophy of caféDiverso.
