Tomb of Gladiator Marcus Nonius Macrinus Found
An 1800 year old tomb containing the remains of Marcus Nonius Macrinus was found on the banks of the River Tiber. Macrinus was the inspiration to the 2000 film Gladiator. He ruled as emporer from 161AD to his death in 180AD.
