Ages 5 – 12 Location: Millbrook Community Center 3200 Millbrook Drive, San José, CA 95148 Hours: Monday, Tuesday, Wednesday & Friday, 2:10-5pm Thurday 1-5pm This program promotes healthy youth development and student learning. This includes homework tutoring, enrichment activities and programs, sports and recreation. Youth will enjoy safe, fun, and exciting activities.

SPORTS & FITNESS
Saturday, December 17-February 11 Ages 5-10 Location: Millbrook Community Center and Ley Va Middle School Registration: Nov. 11, 6-8pm., and Nov. 12, 11am-4pm., Nov. 14-17, 8:30am-4:30pm, Nov.18, 6-8pm, Nov.19, 11am-4pm, Nov 28, 8:30am-5pm Players Clinic: Saturday, Dec 17, ages 3-4, 10:30am-12pm and ages 5-10, 12:30-2:30pm at Millbrook Elementary. Ages 7 & 8 at LeyVa Players will meet their coach and teammates, receive their t-shirt, and are introduced to the basic fundamentals of basketball. Cost: $60 (includes t-shirt, trophy, and pizza party) Teams: Players are randomly placed on teams. You may request to be on the same team with two other players but you must register at the same time. We do not honor requests to be on a specific coaches team. COACHES NEEDED: Volunteer coaches will need to attend a coaches meeting.The coaches meeting will be held on Dec 10 from 10-11am. State law requires fingerprinting of any adult who works with or has contact with minors. Results are confidential and there is no cost to the volunteer.
This class emphasizes age appropriate activities, which may include crafts, stories, drama, music, and games used to develop socialization skills, hand/eye coordination, and motor skills. Children should have a general understanding of their numbers and letters, so that these skills can be improved, however the emphasis of the class is on fun. Child must be toilet trained.

This class will help your child prepare for preschool and kindergarten. Classes are designed to promote independence and improve social, cognitive and movement skills. Activities include crafts, stories, playtime and simple learning concepts. Child must be completely toilet trained and able to attend the class by themselves.

Fifth and Sixth Grade Dance MILLBROOK/EVERGREEN AREA
The Millbrook and Evergreen Community Centers will be hosting the following Dances for the fifth and six grade classes. • Valentines Dance, February 3 • Spring Dance, April 14 • End of the School Year Dance June 2 Ticket Sales, times and locations of sales will be on the flyers. A special permission slip will be attached. All Dances are held at the Evergreen Community Center. Space is limited and tickets will not be sold at the door. Snack type foods, beverages, glow-in-the-dark items and other novelties will be sold at the dances. For more information, please call 408-277-4935.

San José After School is a partnership by the City of San José, with the school districts, community based organizations, teachers and parents to provide safe, fun and enriching activities for youth after school. My First Art Class $43
Spend quality time with your toddler creating art and having fun together! Each week will feature a new theme with five art stations all consisting of new and exciting projects. The class ends on a musical note with lots of singing and dancing and having too much fun! Parents must attend class with registered child only. Wear your grubbies. Country Line Dance $88/48*
Come and find out how much fun it is to Line Dance. Lessons are easy and provide great exercise. You don’t need a partner or any experience to dance. You will learn classic line dances and popular new ones. Hard-soled shoes work best and be sure to bring a water bottle.
