Parking Tips
Read signs carefully. Meters are operational Mon. - Sat., 7 a.m. 6 p.m., unless other wise posted. Check parking time limits on the meter - most have a two-hour limit. Red-striped curbs indicate a no-parking zone. Be aware that some streets have parking restrictions from 7 - 9 a.m. and/or 4 - 6 p.m. Blocking the sidewalk with your vehicle is prohibited. Parking on the wrong side of the street is a safety hazard and is prohibited. Check signage at sports venues for parking restrictions on event days. Park at least 20 ft. from crosswalks, 15 ft. from fire hydrants and 30 ft. from traffic control devices. Red-top meters indicate commercial loading/ unloading zones. Parking is by permit only or $5 per hour at the meter. Parking more than 24 hours in the same space indicates an abandoned vehicle, subject to towing. Report broken meters to 3-1-1 or 713.837.0311.
* Failure to comply with these regulations may result in a parking citation.
