2008 PINE GROVE CEMETERY CLEANUP
DPW Commissioner Jay J. Fink and Pine Grove Cemetery Chairman David Travers announce that per Pine Grove Cemetery Rules and Regulations, the Department of Public Works, Cemetery Division, will remove from cemetery lots and graves, all wreaths, baskets, potted plants, blankets, plastic decorations and any other grave decorations that will interfere with the SPRING cleanup and maintenance of the Cemetery grounds. Vigil lights will not be removed. This st annual effort commences on March 1 and continues through April l5, 2008, pending any delays encountered due to snow cover. On or after the l5th day of October of each year, the same procedure is followed with the removal of all planted beds, baskets, vases, plastic flowers, or any grave decorations that will interfere with the FALL cleanup and maintenance of the Cemetery grounds. The replacing of any of these items on the graves will be st prohibited from October l5 until November 1 of each year. Vigil lights and mums will not be removed.
