Keeping Seniors Safe
Senior Crime Busters is a Westchester County elder fraud protection program that provides tips on how to stay safe and avoid financial exploitation. Seniors can learn to: • Protect their personal safety • Knock out scam artists • Avoid home-improvement rip-offs • Stop identity theft • Hang up on telemarketing fraud . . . and more
One-hour programs will be led at senior centers and clubs, libraries, houses of worship and other locations by officials from various agencies, including the Departments of Consumer Protection and Public Safety, the District Attorney’s office, the New York State Attorney General’s office and the Pace Women’s Justice Center.

Senior Crime Busters is a program of the Elder Abuse Coalition of the Westchester County Department of Senior Programs and Services, and includes the Departments of Consumer Protection, Social Services and Public Safety, the Office for Women, the Westchester County District Attorney’s Office, the New York State Attorney General’s Office and the Pace Women’s Justice Center.
