LET’S TALK ABOUT IT CALENDAR OF EVENTS August 2006

If you no longer wish to receive this calendar, please call 995-5242. It is available on our website, www.westchestergov.com/mentalhealth. “Improving our mental health is as important as improving our physical health. Community education programs and support groups help us by providing information, understanding and the skills necessary to improve our own lives and our relationships with others”. “We are fortunate to have many voluntary and public agencies in Westchester to give us the knowledge and help we may need. This monthly calendar is a valuable resource for information on programs and services that are available”. Andy Spano County Executive

Community organizations/agencies are invited to send listings of educational programs relating to mental health, developmental disabilities, alcoholism and substance abuse. We have speakers available for your organization/group with specific topics, e.g., Depression, Positive Parenting, Children with Special Needs or speakers for general mental health programs. For more information or to submit an event, contact Pam Musci at 995-5242 or fax 995-4265. Listings must be received no later than the 18th day of the previous month.
