Methods For Home Wart Removal By Robert Kokoska

Due to the costs involved with getting warts removed surgically or professionally, many people are opting for home removal methods and products. There are actually over 100 known types of warts, and these methods presented below will work on just about all of them. Even though some insurance plans do actually cover the cost of wart removal done surgically, people would rather deal with this embarrassing problem in privacy at home if the option is available to them. There are many products you can purchase online now that are created to safely deal with warts at home. There are also remedies that you can actually make at home using simple ingredients from your local supermarket. Most of these home remedies use ingredients that are natural and generally don't create any type of pain. The strength of these remedies actually rivals the more expensive store or internet bought mixtures. The first remedy we will look at is Salicylic acid. This would have to be the most common treatment that people use from home. You can purchase this product from a pharmacy without a prescription. When using this acid, you need to remember that it can be quite strong and is able to burn the skin, so you need to make sure you only apply it to the warts. The next home remedy is using duct tape. This is undoubtedly the cheapest of all home remedies. The downside to this method is that it can take some time to see visible results. By continually pulling tape off a wart, it is believed that this action triggers a reaction that causes the immune system to fight the wart and to get rid of it. Another great method for removing warts at home is to use a cryogenic product that can be obtained also without a prescription from a pharmacy. Dermatologists usually preferred this method, but now these products have become widely available and are no longer restricted to their offices. As with the salicylic acid, you need to be careful when using this type of product. Garlic is also used by many people to remove warts. You need to cut a slice of garlic, then place it over the wart and then cover it with a bandage. You then leave it on overnight and take it off in the morning. You then need to repeat this procedure each night for two weeks.

Similar to garlic is tea tree oil. This oil is a strong antibacterial and antiseptic. Using tea tree oil is a great way to stop the spreading of warts. You can use a cotton wool pad to softly dap the effected area several times a day. After a few days or sometimes a week or more, the wart should start to disappear. The last remedy involves using apple cider vinegar. You do the same thing as you did with the tea tree oil except instead of putting oil on the cotton wool pad, you soak it in vinegar. Hold the vinegar in place by using a band-aid and leave it on overnight. Again, it should take several days or a week or more for the wart to disappear. If you would like more home remedies to treat your warts and even any moles or skin tags that you have on your skin, you should read No More Moles, Warts or Skin Tags by Chris Gibson. Hand Wart Removal- Your Ultimate Guide By J. Summers

Hand warts are a skin affliction and are the most common type of warts a person can get. They are formed when the Human Papilloma Virus gets into the skin through cuts on the epidermis. Hand warts can appear on the fingers or the palm and are small round rough patches. If treated properly, hand warts needn’t be too much of a problem. There are several methods of hand wart removal. Natural means use vegetables, fruits or oils that are readily found at home. These are the most inexpensive treatments and pose the least risks since there is no surgery or incision involved. Vegetables, fruits and natural oils are some of the most common treatments under the natural method. Garlic is an especially effective treatment; rubbing a sliced clove of garlic on the affected area can help remove the wart in a few weeks. Potatoes are also effective hand wart removal treatments. Rubbing a slice of potato on the wart for 30 minutes and doing this twice a day can help remove the wart as well. Rubbing a banana peel on a wart also promises to remove a wart in the quickest possible time. Aloe is a common houseplant that has been renowned for it’s many benefits. The use of Aloe extract or Aloe sap has been proven to help remove warts as well as reduce discomfort brought on my warts. It promotes faster healing and softens the skin. Tea tree oil and Vitamin E oil also help the skin and heal the wart, removing it in a few weeks. It is recommended that a pumice stone or emery board be used to file the wart and soften it in between applications of any of these methods. Hand wart removal using over-the-counter products are also safe but a bit more expensive than natural methods. Plasters containing salicylic acid or a concentrated salicylic acid solution has been proven to help get rod of warts in a short amount of time. Salicylic acid is an extract from a medicinal plant, and like Aloe, is known for it’s many benefits to the skin and body. Salicylic acid helps heal the wart. When using plasters, it softens the wart, making it easier to remove. When using the solution that is directly applied on the wart, the wart dries out after a while, and the skin heals well. Hand wart removal using surgery is an option for warts which are persistent and cannot be removed easily. This can be done upon the recommendation of your dermatologist, and there are several ways of doing so. The most common method is to freeze the wart off. Again, however, this depends upon the recommendation of your dermatologist. Removing hand warts can take up to 12 weeks, depending on the type of wart. Even if you can try home remedies to get rid of it, it is best to consult a skin doctor is you find that the warts are recurring or taking longer than usual to disappear despite treatment. Remember that warts are nothing to be embarrassed about, and treating it is quick, easy and painless.
