  DRUG-FREE SCHOOL AND CAMPUS
     POLICY FOR EMPLOYEES
SUMMARY:
It is the intent of Computer Career Center in EI Paso, Texas to comply fully with
Public Law 101-226, Section 22 of the Drug-Free Schools and communities
Act Amendments of 1989. As an institution of education this school is
committed to the safety of its employees and the quality of services that are
delivered to the citizens of EI Paso. We will take all precautions to prevent
injury, loss of life, and/or property, and the loss of productivity. An important
first step toward this goal is to maintain a drug-free environment. In accordance
with the Drug-Free Workplace Act of 1988, we hereby establish a Drug-Free
School and Campus Policy and state additional federal requirements regarding
notification of drug convictions.

STATEMENT:
The illegal use, distribution, sale, or possession of narcotics, drugs, or
controlled substances while attending classes, on the job, or on/in school
property is prohibited and may result in termination. This policy also restricts
certain items such as drug paraphernalia and/or literature promoting illegal
drug or substance use from being brought on school property.
