I trust that this newsletter finds you all well.
Should you not be familiar with our website, allow us to introduce to you the “Tariff Guide & Cost
Calculator”.
This is a fantastic function that will be able to assist you in calculating claims & fees.
Below is an example of the calculator. No, this is not the one you should use, yes, you do need
to access the website in order to make use of the calculator.
Annexure B - Expenses and fees – Regulation 11 – can be viewed on the ADRA website for your
convenience.
The Receipting Fee may be charged on the Capital debt, interest and any accrued interest.

Interpretation of the Tariff (What you can charge for & when / guidelines)
This interpretation has been completed and needs to be ratified by the ADRA
Executive Committee first before it is available for public consumption. Members
will be advised of the availability of the interpretation herein in due course.
Claim & Cost Calculator
Members are advised that this claim & cost calculator serves only as a guide to assist in the calculation of the final amount
payable by debtors which is based on the accuracy of various inputs to be determined by the member themselves. The total
amount payable in the calculator should therefore serve only as an estimate and members are expected to exercise due care
in the interpretation of "Annexure B : Expenses & Fees" of the Debt Collectors Act (Act 114 of 1998). ADRA does not hold
itself responsible and/or liable in the event that members use the claim & cost calculator incorrectly and/or if members do not
apply an/or interpret the tariff in accordance with the requirements of the Act.
