October 13, 2008 Princeton University Professor, Paul Krugman, 55, has been awarded with the Nobel Peace Prize in Econmics for his work and theories on world trade. Krugman has been commonly known for his critisism of President Bush's policies for his academic work. Krugman was born in Long Island and studied economics at Yale University. He obtained a Ph.D. from the Massachusetts Institute of Technology in 1977. From 1982 to 1983 he served on the White House Council of Economic Advisers, during the presidency of Ronald Reagan.
