                                     SMP2 KEY STAKEHOLDER GROUP

        The Key Stakeholder Group (KSG) is a focal point for discussion and consultation in the
        development of the SMP. It represents the activities and interests in the SMP2 area, ensuring
        they are considered during its development. Inclusion in this group offers a more active
        involvement in the SMP2 development process.

        The roles of Key Stakeholder Group members:

        • Suggesting issues and their priorities to be considered within the SMP.
        • Receiving reports and draft proposals from the Client Steering Group / Consultant.
        • Invitation to Key Stakeholder Group meetings at key stages in the production of the SMP.
        • Providing comment / feedback on proposals being made by the Client Steering Group /
          Consultant.
        The Severn Estuary Coastal Group is seeking representatives from the various interests in
        the SMP2 and would like to know if you would like to be part of the KSG. If so, please
        indicate below which heading best represents your interest. Please note that this expression
        of interest does not guarantee your inclusion in the group.

                   SEVERN ESTUARY FLOOD RISK MANAGEMENT STRATEGY (FRMS)

        A Flood Risk Management Strategy (FRMS) for the Severn Estuary, also being developed. It
        will look at how the policies identified in the SMP2 will be implemented on the ground by
        looking at where defences will be aligned, the standard of flood protection and the type of
        defence. Please indicate if you would / would not like to be involved with the consultation on
        the FRMS.
