The game between LSU and Florida will also feature the last two BCS National Champions as the Gators won the title in 2006 followed by the Tigers last year. It's the first time since the inception of the BCS in 1998 that the past two national champions will meet. In addition, the last time national champions from the two previous years met came in 1990 when Notre Dame (1988 champ) beat Miami (1989 champ), 29-20, in South Bend.
