   And whereas it is but just and reasonable that compensa-
tion should be made to those who advanced money for the
use of the government:
   Therefore:
   [Section I.] (Section II, P. L.) Be it enacted and it is hereby
 enacted by the Representatives of the Freemen of the Com-
 monwealth of Pennsylvania in General Assembly met and by
 the authority of the same, That the supreme executive council
 be authorized and they are hereby authorized and directed to
 draw their warrant on the state treasury in favor of the said
 Evan Owen for the sum of twenty-five pounds two shillings
 and three pence as a full compensation for the supplies by him
 furnished as aforesaid.

 AN ACT FOR ENLARGING TH~TIME LIMITED BY THE ACT ENTITLED
  “AN ACT FOR FACILITATING THE REDEMPTION OF THE BILLS OF
  CREDIT EMITTED IN THE YEAR ONE THOUSAND SEVEN HUNDRED
  AND EIGHTY-ONE AND FOR REDEEMING PART OF THE FOUNDED
  DEBT OF THiS STATE~,FOR EXTENDING THE TIME FOR PATENTING
  LANDS WHICH WERE LOCATED BEFORE THE DECLARATION OF IN-
  DEPENDENCY AND FOR GIVING A RIGHT OF PRE-EMPTION TO
  ACTUAL SETTLERS FOR PROCURING WARRANTS FOR LANDS BY
  THEM OCCUPIED.”

   (Section I, P. L.) Whereas in and by the act entitled, “An
 act for facilitating the redemption of the bills of credit emit-
 ted in the year one thousand seven hundred and eighty-one
 and for redeeming part of the founded debt of this state, for
 extending the time of patenting lands which were located
 before the Declaration of Independency and for giving a right
 of pre-emption to actual settlers for procuring warrants for
 lands by them occupied,” the time limited by the act lapsed the
 twenty-eighth day of March one thousand seven hundred and

      eighty seven for paying or securing to the state the payments
      for lands held or claimed by any citizens of this common-
      wealth by location or any other office right obtained before
      the tenth day of December one thousand seven hundred and
      seventy-six and yet remaining unpatented, was extended under
      the terms and conditions therein mentioned to the tenth day
       of April one thousand seven hundred ahd. eighty-nine:
          And whereas in and by the same act the time limited by the
       act passed the thirtieth day of December one thousand seven
       hundred and eighty-six entitled, “An act for giving during a
       limited time a right of pre-emption to the actual settlers with-
       in this state” was further extended in every matter and thing
       therein coiitained t~ the said tenth day of April one thousand
       seven hundred and eighty-nine:
          And whereas the said limitations so extended as aforesaid
        will expire on the tenth day of April next and it is deemed ex-
        pedient that they should be further extended:
           [Section I.] (Section II, P. L,) Be it therefore enacted and
        it is hereby enacted by the Representatives of the Freemen
        of the Commonwealth o Pennsylvania in General Assembly
        met and by the authority of tile same, That the time so as afore-
        said limited and extended be and they are hereby respectively
        further extended to the tenth day of April in the year of our
        Lord one thousand seven hundred and ulnety as fully and
         amply to all intents and purposes as they were by the afore-
         said act extended to the [said] tenth day of April one thou-
         sand seven hundred and eighty-nine, anything to the contrary
         contained in the said act or in any of the acts therein recited
         and referred to notwithstanding.
