APPLE LAPTOP BATTERY TEST
Effective immediately, when an Apple/DepotWorks dispatch is created for
MacBook/MacBook Pro battery replacement, Bell TechLogix employees will be
performing diagnostic tests on the battery to determine if the battery is eligible for
replacement. If the battery is defective, it will be replaced even after the one-year
warranty. If the battery has been consumed due to its normal life cycle (approx. 100
charges cycles) it will not be eligible for replacement and it will be the responsibility of
the site to replace the battery after the one-year warranty.

The diagnostic tool must be run from a MacBook or MacBook Pro, so please leave the
battery in the unit or have a comparable unit available for testing. It is recommended
that a member of your school/department's technology staff be on-hand to provide
access and/or password authorization to the notebook's operating system. If the Bell
TechLogix employee does not have full access to the battery and a notebook, he/she
will leave your location and will attempt to complete the dispatch on a later date.
