									                     The Learning Style Inventory & Score Sheet

This survey is for describing how you learn – the way you find out about and deal
with ideas and situations in your life. Different people learn best in different ways.
The different ways of learning described in the survey are equally good. The aim is
describe how you learn, not to evaluate your learning ability.

Please keep in mind that there are no right or wrong answers – all the choices are
equally acceptable.

Scoring Instructions

The four columns of words correspond to the four learning style scales: CE, RO, AC,
and AE.

1. To add up your raw scores, write your rank numbers in the boxes below only for
the designated items.

For example, in the third column (AC), you would fill in the rank numbers (values)
you gave to items 2, 3, 4, 5, 8, and 9;

in the first column (CE), you would fill in the rank number (values) you gave to items
2, 3, 4, 5, 7, and 8, and so on, for all 4 columns.

2. Compute your sale scores by adding the rank numbers for each set of boxes,

           CE = . . . . . . .       RO = . . . . . . . AC = . . . . . .   AE = . . . . . . .

3. To compute the two combination scores, subtract CE from AC and subtract RO
from AE. Preserve/keep any negative signs if they appear.

       AC – CE:          . . . . - . . . . . .= . . . .        AE – RO:      .... -.... =...

4. Plot the two resulting scores (using the correct +/- signs) on to the following chart
to see your approximate Learning Style at this time, then read the following
Interpretations of that Type.
