DEBBIE GABY, PRESIDENT OF SLEEP AMERICA, TO SPEAK TO PHOENIX AMA ABOUT
          WHY GIVING TO THE COMMUNITY IS GOOD FOR BUSINESS

(PHOENIX, Arizona, March 16, 2007) — Giving back to the community in which businesses thrive is not only
important to the community, it’s good business. A great example of this is mattress retailer, Sleep America. Even
before Sleep America opened its doors, they were giving mattresses to local non-profits like Sojourner Center,
Florence Crittenton and St. Vincent De Paul. As a business they have experienced a correlation between giving
and success.


Debbie Gaby, President of Sleep America, founded the company with her husband in 1997, and Sleep America is
now the largest mattress retailer in Arizona. Voted Best Place to Work in the Valley by The Phoenix Business
Journal in 2005, Sleep America continually exceeds the expectations not only of its customers, but of its
